Retries (No Duplicates)

This guide explains “no duplicates” in plain language: clients can safely retry without causing repeated work.

What we can’t know yet (UNKNOWN)

If a retry happens during an outage, the system may not be able to confirm the prior attempt’s outcome. In that case:

• The response must not imply success
• The client should replay safely with the same request identity
